Your accommodation

Planned hotels or ships as published by Cox & Kings. Alternatives of a similar standard may be used. Hotel options are grouped as supplied and are not necessarily all included in one departure.

Sina Brufani

Set on a hilltop in the historical center of Perugia, Sina Brufani offers enchanting views of medieval rooftops and the lush, green hills of the Umbrian countryside. The classic luxury hotel has 94 elegant guest rooms and suites with traditional decor, antique furnishings and Carrara marble bathrooms. An Umbrian restaurant with a roaring fireplace gives way to a wood-trimmed bar. There is also a fitness center, a sauna and a spa with a transparent-bottom swimming pool revealing medieval vaults. Located two hours from either Florence or Rome airports, stately, historic Sina Brufani is a luxurious starting point for adventures in the Tuscan countryside.

Hotel Locanda della Posta

Hotel San Luca

The Hotel San Luca, run by the Zuccari family, is elegant and sophisticated, featuring a warm and familiar atmosphere. The building’s interior underwent a radical renovation. Consequently, the majority of what you will see is new, but the atmosphere is undoubtedly old world. The building most likely dates back to the mid-19th century. The style of the building was heavily influenced by the nearby Mattatoio, a former slaughterhouse designed by the great architect Ireneo Aleandri who also designed the city’s Teatro Nuovo theatre and Traversa Interna (interior passageway). Of particular interest is the beautiful interior courtyard with the Holy Wellspring, accessible from a spacious gallery that is similar to a cloister.
