Day 1
TO NAMUR
Following the Channel crossing we make our way to Namur where we stay for the next four nights on a bed and breakfast basis. (D)
Day 2
ANNEVOIE GARDENS & NAMUR CITADEL TOURIST TRAIN
We start the day at Jardin D'Annevoie, one of Belgium's most historic water gardens, famous for its 18th century engineering and elegant landscaping. We then return to Namur and enjoy a ride on the tourist land-train along the ramparts of the castle which is perched above the town. (B)
Day 3
DINANT, MEUSE RIVER CRUISE & DURBUY
Today we visit the beautiful town of Dinant, dominated by the Citadel and stunning onion-shaped dome of the Cathedral. Here we include a return cruise on the River Meuse to Anseremme taking in breath-taking scenery as we go. In the afternoon we continue on to Durbuy, a picturesque village in the rolling hills. (B)
Day 4
LA ROCHE-EN-ARDENNE & CHOUFFE BREWERY WITH TOUR & TASTING
Today we enjoy a scenic drive to La Roche-en-Ardenne in the heart of the Ardennes. Nicknamed the 'Gem of the Ardennes, this pretty town boasts a ruined castle and quaint streets to explore. This afternoon we visit the Brasserie Chouffe brewery in Achouffe for a guide tour and tasting of some delicious beers in the Gnomes Inn, named after their famous logo. (B)
Day 5
FROM NAMUR
We depart after breakfast and make our way for the Channel crossing and continue our journey back to South Wales. (B)
