Day 2 — Athens

This morning, our guided tour will take us through the must-see landmarks of this historic capital. First, the Panathenaic Stadium – where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. We’ll pass the Prime Minister's residence, with its iconic Evzone guards in their colourful uniforms, and visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament, and more, before a stop at the iconic Acropolis and its museum. The afternoon is at leisure, and tonight, we’ll stroll to a charming Greek taverna for dinner.

Day 3 — Corinth Canal - Mycenae - Nafplio

Today's adventure takes us to the Peloponnese, beginning with a photo stop at the impressive Corinth Canal. This engineering marvel, carved through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth, connects the Aegean and Ionian seas. We’ll then visit Mycenae where we pay tribute to Agamemnon, the legendary king who led the Greeks during the Trojan War. His tragic tale of glory and betrayal is woven into the ruins of the once-mighty citadel. After a taverna lunch, we’ll wander the romantic streets of Nafplio, known for its Venetian fortifications, pastel-coloured neoclassical mansions, and sweeping coastal views. As Greece’s first capital, Nafplio is rich in history, with its roots stretching back to the Bronze Age.

Day 6 — Rhodes

Today we arrive on Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands known for its varied landscape and significant historical sites. One of the most prominent landmarks is the Acropolis of Lindos, situated on a clifftop overlooking the Aegean Sea. The island is also home to traditional hillside villages and coastal towns. Rhodes Old Town, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features cobbled streets and architecture influenced by the Ottomans and Italians, reflecting the island’s diverse past.

The town is built around Lake Voulismeni, a small inland lake linked to the sea, which local tradition associates with the goddess Athena. Alongside its harbour and waterfront, Agios Nikolaos offers a range of cafés, shops, and squares that reflect its role as both a working town and a visitor destination. The wider area, stretching east from Heraklion, also includes the well-known resorts of Hersonissos and Malia.

Oia, a must-see village perched on Santorini’s northern tip, is about a 45-minute drive from the port, but it's well worth the trip. Famous for its spectacular sunsets, maze-like alleys, and boutiques, Oia offers a quintessential Greek island experience.
